COVID -19 Procedures

At York Cottage Spa it is important to us that our guests feel safe when visiting us so we have dedicated this page to keep you in the loop and let you know what changes we have made to the spa.

These new guidelines and rules are in place to ensure you have the safest yet most enjoyable experience possible. We request all customers to read and adhere to these processes.

Most importantly, if you show any symptoms (including a persistent dry cough, a high temperature or loss of taste / smell), please stay home and contact us to rearrange your spa session.

We ask that all guests bring their own face coverings for use whilst in communal areas, if you also wish to wear gloves please bring these along with you.

You are required to keep 2 metres between yourself and anyone outside of your household.

Research has shown that well-ventilated spaces are considerably safer. Furthermore, evidence shows that the best ventilation is through natural airflow. Where possible and weather permitting we will be keeping as many of our french doors open as possible throughout your stay.

Additional hand sanitisers have been installed and we ask you to wash your hands frequently. In addition to sanitising them, we are now deep cleaning the spa twice per day, rather than just before every session.

As well as cleaning in-between every treatment we now have a cleaning cupboard for our guests to help themselves to throughout the day should you wish to use these.

Please familiarise yourself with the poster below, you will also see this poster on the walls of the spa to remind you throughout the day.

All staff have completed a COVID-19 health and safety course to make sure they have a full understanding of what is expected of them whilst these new rules are in place.
